Recognised around the world for over 70kms of never ending idyllic surf beaches and combined with the sun-drenched climate, the Gold Coast beaches are perfect for swimming, sunbaking and walking along. Experience the sense of freedom and exhilaration like no other, while learning to surf as the power of the ocean carries you towards the white sands of the beach.

3. Australian Outback Spectacular

A unique and exciting dinner show capturing the grandeur of the Australian Outback. Nightly, from Tuesday to Sunday the giant arena thunders with the hooves of Australian stock horses. It’s an electric atmosphere steeped in the courage and daring spirit of the outback.

4. Gold Coast Hinterland

Just 30 minutes west of Treasure Island, rolling landscapes give way to more than 100,000 hectares of national parks, world heritage-listed rainforests with waterfalls, hiking tracks and panoramic views of the coast at Tamborine, Lamington and Springbrook National Parks. 14. Fantastic Array of Restaurants

Night Markets (near Cavill Avenue): Every Wednesday and Friday night, the Surfers Paradise beachfront comes alive with arts and crafts and other interesting stalls to entertain everyone.
Carrara Markets, Ferry Road Markets and Hope Island Markets: Open every Saturday and Sunday. Arts and crafts of all descriptions can be found here as well as bric-a-brac, clothing, shoes, nursery products and much more.

16. Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk

Walk 30 meters above the valley and see spectacular views over the creek and the rainforest canopies below. View rock pools, cascading creeks, a butterfl y lookout, local history enclosure and the amazing Cantilever.

17. Sanctuary Cove

Sanctuary Cove is Australia’s fi rst integrated tourism resort. This region includes Hope Island and nearby Paradise Point, offering prestige housing, riverfront properties and a golf course.
Shop in up market precincts or cruise up the Coomera River past palatial waterfront properties. The marina is close to South Stradbroke Island, Wavebreak Island and Moreton Bay.

18. Dracula’s Haunted House and Cabaret Restaurant

Set in a purpose built fi ve-story building the Haunted House attraction presents a chilling theme on every level. 19. Wineries

Sniff, swirl and sip a wine at Albert River Wines, Canungra Valley Vineyards, Heritage Wines of Mt Tamborine, Tamborine Estate, Tamborine Mountain Distillery and the Cedar Creek Estate Vineyard and Winery. Pick up some Triple Cream Brie from Witches Chase Cheese Company as the perfect compliment, or visit one of the many fudge stores at Mt Tamborine

Experience the world of the odd, weird and ripley. See an amazing collection of real shrunken heads from the Jivaro tribe of Equador, enjoy the special
effects dark room which will capture your movements and then display them in three giant screens in an amazing multicoloured light display or visit the amazing Mars Rock from the Red Planet.
