The wish of management and staff is for all guests to be able to enjoy a safe, happy, friendly and relaxing stay whilst at the park. Be considerate of others and ensure your site and belongings are kept secure and tidy at all times. Please read the following which applies to all guests, residents or invited guests.
AMENITIES: Are situated throughout the park and are open 24 hours for your convenience. All amenity buildings are shown on the reverse side map. All children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult and be supervised at all times. Please consider others when using these facilities by leaving them in a neat and tidy condition.
ARRIVAL/CHECK IN: We look forward to welcoming you any time after 2pm on the day of your scheduled arrival, 3pm for Townhouse Villas and Pandanus Villas (depending on availability).
BAR: Our bar is open daily from 11am - 10pm (may close earlier at management discretion). Dress should be clean and tidy. Management reserves the right to refuse service at any time.
BASKETBALL KEY: Ball available for hire from kiosk with a refundable deposit. See park map for location.
BBQ AREAS: There are several FREE BBQ areas provided throughout the park. Please leave area clean after use.
BICYCLES/SCOOTERS/ROLLERBLADES: These are allowed during daylight hours but guests should observe all the road rules including the wearing of helmets and necessary protective gear. CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES. These items are not to be used in the main entrance/exit area and the main street in the park. An in-house licence is needed for all guests to use & enjoy these items within the property. No skateboards or similar items are to be used within the park.
BISTRO: Open for breakfast, lunch & dinner daily from 7am - 8.30pm. Breakfast: 7-9.30am, Lunch: 12 - 2pm, Dinner: 5.30 - 8.30pm.
BOOM GATES: Please use your boom gate key for entry and exit through the boom gates. These are erected for the safety and security of all guests. Please do not tail through the gate after another vehicle. Failure to comply with this may result in damage to your vehicle and our boom gate. Damage to our boom gate will be the responsibility of the guest.
BUSINESS: We understand that from time to time work may interrupt our guests while on holidays, so to ensure your business needs are met swiftly and efficiently, please visit us in reception for your phone messages/fax/photocopying/mail/internet requirements. Unfortunately messages will not be delivered to guests on site.
CAMP KITCHEN: There is a camp kitchen situated within the park for your convenience. Please leave clean after use. See park map for location.
COIN CHANGE: Available from kiosk for games room, phone and laundries.
CREDIT CARDS: Due to increasing operational costs, a 2% fee will apply to the total amount on all credit card transactions. This is effective immediately from 1 July 2011.
Should you not wish to incur any credit card transaction fees, there are alternate payment options available: Direct Deposit or Cheque. Please see reception for more information.
Please Note: Any cheque payments must be received 14 days prior to arrival to allow for processing. Cheques will not be accepted on arrival or for payment during your stay.
DEPARTURE/CHECK OUT: All rooms/sites to be vacated by 10am on the day of your departure. Early departures: should you wish to check out before reception opens, please make alternate arrangements the day before. If you would like to extend your stay (depending on availability) – please do so before 10am.
DEPOSIT FOR HIRE EQUIPMENT: Refundable deposits are required for the hire of equipment. Please see kiosk for more details.
DISHES: Should be washed in the sinks provided in the camp kitchen and BBQ areas. Please do not use the laundry tubs to wash dishes.
DUMP POINT: See park map for location. Please use our dump point to discard of waste matter from – porta loos, motor homes or caravan toilets. Please do not empty these in our amenity blocks.
DVD HIRE: DVD’s are available from the kiosk – a deposit and a nightly fee applies (please return by 10am the following day).
EQUIPMENT HIRE: A range of sporting equipment is available for hire from the kiosk.
FAMILY BATHROOM: Located in the main amenity block. A refundable key deposit is required.
FIRES: No open fires are to be lit at any time.
GAMES: Coin operated electronic games are located inside Galleons Bistro. Open from 8am to 9.30pm. (Fees apply)
GENERATORS: The use of generators is not permitted after 8pm.
GO KARTS: Open 8am - 4pm daily, $10 per hour or $50 per day. A refundable deposit of $200 is required. Go Karts are not allowed out of the park at any time and are only to be used in designated areas (not to be used in main entrance/exit or main street in park). Safety helmets must be worn at all times. All guests should observe all road rules including wearing the necessary safety gear. CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES. An in-house licence is needed for all guests to use & enjoy go karts within the property.
INTERNET: INTERNET KIOSKS OR WIFI – Internet kiosks are located in Galleon’s Bistro and are available from 7am to 9pm. This is a non smoking area and please be considerate of others who may be waiting. WIFI (wireless) antennas are located throughout the park to provide free wireless internet access for guests. Due to the ever changing environment of a holiday park and varying customer computers, signal cannot be guaranteed everywhere, however, outside areas are well covered. Data outlets are also available for those without a wireless card in certain areas. FREE wireless internet.
JUMPING PILLOW: Open 9am to 7pm daily. See park map for location. The use of the jumping pillow is for in-house guests only. Please observe the rules to ensure safe use. Children must be supervised at all times in these areas. Be extra careful when surface is slippery. No footwear is to be worn please.
KIOSK: Open daily from 7am – 9pm for all your needs.
LAUNDRY: There are 2 laundry blocks located throughout the park. They have coin operated washing machines and driers for your use. The laundries are open daily from 7am - 9.30pm for your convenience. Please do not erect temporary clothes lines on your accommodation/site, they WILL NOT BE PERMITTED. Ironing boards are located in each laundry. Irons are available for hire from the reception. Washing powder is available for purchase in laundry block.

MESSAGES: Phone messages are listed on the message board outside reception.
MINI GOLF: Located at the front of the property and is open from 8am – 9pm. A refundable deposit is required for equipment. Cost is $3.00 per person per round.
PARKING: Is allocated for most sites/accommodation (one car space per site/accommodation). Please park your vehicle in this allotted position and not on the roadways. (Boats will only be accepted on site providing they fit and are approved by management). Visitors should park their car in the visitor parking area at the front of the property. No visitor cars are allowed in the park without consent from management.
PETS: Sorry, no pets allowed.
QUIET TIME: Please be respectful of the enjoyment of others within the park by restricting noise from television, music and social gatherings between the hours of 10pm and 8am.
RECEIPTS: Please retain the receipt issued to you on arrival. This validates your length of stay and any bonds/deposits that may be refundable on your departure.
RECEPTION HOURS: 7.30am – 8pm (Saturday - Thursdays). 7.30am - 9pm (Fridays) Closed Christmas Day.
REFUND/CANCELLATION: Details of our policy is available at reception. Please be aware that we are unable to refund any monies for late arrivals, early departures or in the event of inclement weather.
RESTAURANTS, BARS, CAFÉ’S: There are plenty of restaurants/bars/cafes in our area. Please see any one of our friendly staff for our local favourites.
RUBBISH/RECYCLING: Can be placed in the large bins positioned near your site. Please assist staff by having your rubbish securely wrapped and placed in bins provided. Recycling stations are available throughout the park as shown on the map. Please use colour coded bins to sort your recycling.
SECURITY: Please be wary of security. Lock your cars and your accommodations when you leave them. Management cannot accept responsibility for theft of personal possessions. Security cameras are located throughout the property.
SMOKING: Please note that smoking is not permitted in any accommodation or in and around the community areas.
SPA’S – HEATED: Located in 2 separate areas, see park map for locations. Open from 8am – 9pm. (Fees apply)
SPECIAL NEEDS: Access friendly shower and toilet facilities are located within the park. See park map for location. Special access accommodation is also available.
SPEED LIMIT: All roads in the park are shared between pedestrian and vehicles. Speed limits are walking pace only.
SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS: Please be aware that surveillance cameras are used within our property.
SWIMMING POOL: There are 3 swimming pools for your enjoyment. See park map for locations. Pool hours: 7.30am to 8.30pm. Please be aware that there is no life guard on duty. Children must be supervised at all times in these areas. The use of the pool is for guests only. Please observe the rules to ensure safe use. Do not take glass containers of any kind into the pool areas. Remember alcohol and water DO NOT mix – so please no alcohol whilst using pool areas.
TELEPHONES: There are 2 public telephones located within the park. See park map for location. They are operated by coin and phone card.
TENNIS COURT: Open from 8am – 9pm. Please register your name at kiosk (adult required). White soled or non marking shoes are required. $3.00 per 1/2 hour, $6.00 per hour. A refundable deposit is required for equipment. Fees apply for lost balls.
THINGS TO SEE & DO: Our reception staff will be happy to assist with any queries you may have.
TOUR DESK & TICKET SALES: Visit the theme parks – Dreamworld, Movie World, Sea World & Wet n Wild. Purchase your DISCOUNTED tickets from reception. Our friendly staff can assist in choosing the best tour & reserve seats for you. Most tours booked through our office, offer a complimentary pick up and drop off service.
Please note: Treasure Island Holiday Park is happy to recommend Tour Operators and attractions in the Gold Coast area that have had no due diligence relation to the operating practices of these businesses. Treasure Island Holiday Park, its Owners, Directors, Employees or Agents shall not be held responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury sustained by any person availing themselves of the services of those businesses recommended by it.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: We recommend all guests take out Travel Insurance whilst on holidays. This should protect against the unlikely event that you may be forced to cancel. Examples of unforeseen circumstances: In case of bad weather (ie. excess rain), death in family, transport difficulties (ie. plane strike or flights being cancelled), severe emergency events (ie. flood, fire) - these are just some issues you may face. Insurance policies vary between companies so take the time to research thoroughly to ensure you are protected against all issues that may be encountered.
VERANDAH: Please do not hang laundry on your balcony. For your convenience a clothes airer is provided in all accommodation and coin-operated driers are located in the laundries.
VISITORS: All visitors should be registered on arrival. Guests are also responsible for their visitor’s behaviour. Any visitor that stays overnight must be registered prior to staying. (Fees apply)
WATER: As you may or may not be aware, we are currently experiencing a drought in our area. Strict council regulations apply to the use of water at our property. Please see reception for full details on these restrictions to help us meet the strict standards.
WATER HAZARDS: Parents and guardians please note the location of the creek which may pose as a water hazard to small children or other non-swimmers. The creek is clearly identified on our site plans and strict supervision should be maintained to prevent children and non-swimmers from gaining access. Treasure Island Holiday Park, its Owners, Directors, Employees or Agents shall not be held responsible or liable for any death or injury caused to any persons directly or indirectly through gaining access to lagoons or any other water hazard in the park and Treasure Island Holiday Park hereby indemnifies and holds harmless, its Owners, Directors, Employees or Agents from any actions, claims or other suits or demands which may arise.
WILDLIFE: As a guest you are welcome to enjoy the incredible opportunities for interaction with our local wildlife. As cute as they may be however, feeding the wildlife can be detrimental to their health. We ask that you not feed any of the animals.
EVACUATION PLAN: Please make yourself familiar with our evacuation plan in case of any unforeseen emergency. In case of emergency, please remain calm and follow instruction from staff. Note: Any caravan/campervan leads connected to our power outlets must be 15 AMP tested and tagged! The use of double adaptors is not allowed!
PLASTIC COVERS, CARPETS OR MATS OUTSIDE TENTS OR CARAVANS ARE NOT PERMITTED ON ANY LAWNED AREA. SHADE CLOTH OR SIMILAR IS WELCOME.
