Swimming Pool nears completition


Great news!!! The refurbishments to the main swimming pool are almost complete.  The pool should be open in time for the weekend, the only items left to add are the sails, lunges, waterplay equipment and you.  Check out the below images to get a sneak peek of how it is shaping up.

 




Out & About with Kids Best of Family Travel Awards 2014


NRMA Treasure Island Holiday Park has placed in the top three for a number of awards in the 2014 Out and About with Kids Best of Family Travel Awards.

Readers voted Treasure Island in the top 3 of the country’s best family holiday park due to its Gold Coast location and proximity to beaches, rainforest and theme parks, as well as its facilities, which include three resort pools, kids club, mini golf and giant jumping pillow.




Migaloo spotted heading to the Gold Coast


Migaloo spotted heading north off NSW coast

ONE of the world’s rarest whales has been spotted heading north to the Gold Coast and is currently just off the New South Wales central coast.
 
Migaloo, the all-white male humpback, was first photographed making tracks for warmer northern waters off Green Cape in Eden on the southern New South Wales coast on Tuesday.
 
The unique mammal was spotted a second time on Thursday, this time passing Botany Bay in Sydney.

Three NRMA Holiday Parks have been named as finalists in the 2014 Out and About with Kids Best of Family Travel Awards.

The popular magazine’s annual awards aim to uncover the best places in the world for families to stay, with readers voting in a range of different categories.

Dawn Fraser opens Gold Coast water theme attraction at NRMA Treasure Island Holiday Park


Starlight kids and their families joined Olympic legend Dawn Fraser on Sunday 9 March to officially launch ‘Shipwreck Shores’, a pirate-themed water fun park at NRMA Treasure Island Holiday Park.
 
Park manager Brendan Brady said he opened the holiday park to the local community on Sunday in celebration of the new water attraction; a desert island surrounded by a pirate ship and giant sea monsters. “We threw open the doors to Treasure Island for the day so our Gold Coast friends could experience Shipwreck Shores, along with our jumping pillow, face painting, sand art and other free kids activities,” said Mr Brad

Everyone had an amazing day yesterday at the official opening of our Shipwreck Shores water park.




Starlight families and Olympian to open new water park at Treasure Island


Starlight Children’s Foundation kids will be among the first to experience the new $700,000 water park at NRMA Treasure Island Holiday Park on Sunday 9 March 2014.
 
Starlight kids and their families will be joined by Olympic legend Dawn Fraser as they take part in the grand opening of ‘Shipwreck Shores’, a pirate-themed water park that features a desert island surrounded by a pirate ship and giant sea monsters.
 
To celebrate the opening, parts of the park will open to the local community from 11am to 2pm with a range of free activities for the whole family, including a jumping pillow, face painting and sand art.



A new destination for NRMA Holiday Parks


NRMA Holiday Parks and Australian Tourist Park Management (ATPM) have announced the re-­branding of ATPM’s Murramarang Beachfront Nature Resort.
