The four holiday parks owned by NRMA have each received a 2013 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence. The accolade is awarded to properties that consistently achieve outstanding reviews on the popular travel website.
Australian Tourist Park Management (ATPM), who manages the parks on behalf of NRMA, is pleased to receive the award.
“Park management and staff strive to offer customers a memorable experience, and this accolade is evidence that their hard work is translating into positive traveller reviews on TripAdvisor,” said ATPM Managing Director Steve Billett.
“In turn, this leads to more visitors to not only the parks, but the local community. It’s a great win all round.”
Treasure Island Holiday Park on the Gold Coast, Darlington Beach Holiday Park, just north of Coffs Harbor, and Ocean Beach Holiday Park on the NSW Central Coast are all currently ranked number one in their TripAdvisor categories, with an average rating of 4.5 stars. Merimbula Beach Holiday Park on the NSW South Coast is also ranked number one in its category, with an average rating of five stars.
Treasure Island and Ocean Beach Holiday Parks also recently received TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards.
NRMA Holiday Parks Commercial Manager David Birch said he was delighted the parks are so highly valued by guests.
“Our members and guests are the most important aspect of our business and we are glad to provide them with great holiday experiences that they can write home about,” he said.
To qualify for the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five. The volume of reviews received within the last 12 months is also considered. Only approximately 10 per cent of accommodations listed on TripAdvisor receive this prestigious award.
